I Got Nuthin!, Well maybe a little :)

Really, "I got Nuthin" I have been gone sooo long from posting. I have become a blog lurker and hardly ever commenting. Those that keep track of who visits please don't be offended I sometimes just enjoy looking around and then getting off the computer. :) On that note I had to take my counter and tracker off my blog because I became so obsessed with people not commenting. I would see a visitor and wonder why didn't she comment, she doesn't like me, I have nothing to offer anyone, not creative, not too great at decorating even though I love it, too fat, boring, whatever I told myself I would believe until I realized just how stupid that was. Most the time people don't give it a second thought they just visit and leave just like I have been doing lately. I had to go back and remind myself that I maily started this blog as a tool to keep in touch with family but I have met a lot of great people along the way.

On a different note I must say that I have watched entirely toooooooo much coverage of the upcoming election. I am so "in the know" of course "the know" is what the news anchors tell me and let me tell you there are some stations that leave a lot of stuff out. I KNOW because I have watched just about all of them. I do know who I am going to vote for but I have wanted to get all the information I could in making that decison. There is one station, named after an animal, that I have decided really does do a good job of getting a lot of information out and asking people from both sides their opinions. There is another that has a segment called "the worst person in the world" Nice real nice! There are also some stations that truly just do not mention some things which makes me angry because I believe they are there to give us all the information available and then let us make a decision. Thank goodness for the internet, now we have access to actual documents and facts about things and not just someone's opinion. In watching so much TV and hearing so many views I have come to the conclusion that there are a lot of ANGRY people out there. Some because of the current economy crisis but some just becasue they are angry and somewhat bitter. People can call it passion and maybe for some it is but wow it sure looks like anger and bitterness to me.
One of the greatest privelages we have in America is to VOTE. This is the one way our voices can be heard. If you don't vote you have no right to complain about our government. Educate yourself on the candidates, don't believe everything you hear, check it out, line it up with the scriptures, pray and then VOTE!
Okay off the soap box. :)
Blessings,

Glad to see you back. I'm like you
I enjoy reading the blogs but don't always have something to say but feel I can keep up better. Agreed, about VOTING. It is our
privilege and duty to do so and as
far as listening to the media, well
it leaves a lot to be desired. Glad everything is going okay. Love,Grandma

This made me smile...several times.
I like your soapbox, I don't think you should get off it. :)

I especially liked the picture of the animal that rhymes with "chicken pox."

I am with you girl. I have news on a lot and I would love to rant, but I don't want to get into some huge discussuion/argument with someone who spends their entire life online looking for a conservative to target.

Anyways, I think you are such a sweetie. You always encourage me with your comments.
Love,
Sue

Glad to have you back! I'm a blog lurker at times too. It's hard to do all the stuff in our daily lives but I still like catching up with my blogs.

:) Have a great day!

Linda I have been MIA too! I love the post and I agree with you on the network you like. They are the only ones who are fair. I think no one should complain unless they are voting, and there are many people who have given up their lives for this very freedom that we Americans so take for granted. Have a blessed day!

I am glad you are back and thanks for commenting. I appreciated hearing from you on that subject.

I have been guilty of reading but not commentng. Please forgive me! :)

Great comments on voting! I agree. I have gotten frustrated during the debates and left the room. I know who I am voting for and I just want November to get here quickly. I prayed for our country after the last debate because I am concerned at the direction of our country and its principles.

So glad to see a post from you. I am so bad about lurking...reading and not taking the time to comment. It's so not fair because of the fact that I LOVE comments; it's really only fair that I should leave them too. I think it's because I already spend too much time on the computer and commenting would only take more of it.

Linda,
You are sooooo GREAT!! I am so happy you are back, please stay :o) I love your posts!!!

I feel the same way about the election, but I haven't heard all of the coverage you have because we don't pay for TV. I know ~~ there it's out in the open, yes it is sad ~~ we have rabbit ears. But I do like NBC's coverage does that count?

Okay I'm going on with my bad self (wow this is a long random post :o) Love you girl ~~ so glad you back,
Dawn

Ok, I will not lurk any longer! LOL
I love what you said about voting. Yes, a lot is left out! It is sad that many people will vote and not REALLY know what they are voting for.

You love the Lord, you are a wonderful mother, doting wife, loving sister and precious daughter. You are transparent and honest about where you are in your walk. When you share where you are struggling it lightens the hearts of so many. I am with Grandma, it is our duty to vote. Ded and I have sent ours in already. VOTE!!!!
Love you all,
Mom

You little stinker....I love ya and am thankful that I have you here and on facebook. Don't you love the quickness and ease of facebook?

Anyway, I'm done with the media. I was watching CNN the other night and thought I'd lose my mind.

I'm voting. And, thanks for the great post today.
